Field-recording of the creek found in old ellicot city, md. The creek is located in a suburban town, and is surrounded by a man-made rock moat about a story below street level. Recorded using a sony pcm-m10 at 24bit, 96k. The sound has been gently processed!!- hpf (6db slope) to remove rumble- compressor (ni supercharger gtx) with a minimal 1db gain reduction in m/s mode and a bit of warmth added. - ozone 5 for a little m/s eq to alleviate some of the watery pops on the sides and a little stereo widening to compensate for the pcm-m10's built in omni mics.

Description of the sound : two pipes with a small stream of flowing though them. Falling from about 5cm. Recorder was set to about 4cm away. With the intent of separating having each pipe on each side of the mic. The river wid in essex, uk. The recording includes three nearby locations. The hydrophone (aquarian audio h2a) was lowered into the water and either held mid-water or allowed to sit on the river bed. I used a zoom f6 for the recording.

You can hear the water flow in an alpine creek. It's name: ziller.
